Materials

Standard Spice pieces are designed with our customer in mind. Each piece has been carefully designed as an ode to androgynous style with premium materials. 

Stainless Steel
Although stainless steel is strong, resistant, and practical, it is no less beautiful than other types of jewellery. We source stainless steel as our most used material due its durability, comfort and ability to be polished. Our 'silver' Stainless Steel pieces are high polished, while our 'gold' Stainless Steel pieces are high polish stainless steel with 18k gold layered over the top. Due to the durability of stainless steel, it grips the gold layer meaning you can swim, bathe, sweat, live in our stainless steel pieces.

925 Sterling Silver
925 Sterling Silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. It is a soft metal, which means it is malleable. Our SSXMARAL Collection is designed from 925 Sterling Silver and plated in 18k Gold at 1.5 microns. All of our sterling silver pieces are stamped with “925”.

Gold Vermeil

Say it with us: ver-may.

Gold vermeil jewellery involves a much thicker layer of gold plating for added durability. To be certified gold vermeil, the layer of gold is required to be at least 2.5 microns thick and the core material must be 925 sterling silver. All of our 18k gold vermeil pieces are stamped with “925” due to their core material being 925 sterling silver.

Shipping

Shipping Cost

Standard Spice proudly uses Sendle for all shipping requirements. We offer free standard shipping for all orders within Australia. Standard shipping delivery time to most Australian cities is 2-7 business days from dispatch date. 

We offer Express shipping for $15 within Australia. Express shipping delivery time to most Australian cities is 2-5 business days from dispatch date.

Processing Times 

Your order will be fulfilled and shipped within 48 hours from order confirmation. Once dispatched, you will receive an email including your tracking information. 

International Shipping

We deliver internationally using Sendle. Shipping cost will be calculated at checkout based on your delivery destination and the weight of your parcel. Standard Spice is not liable for any import taxes incurred by your shipment. International delivery times will vary, however your tracking link will provide an estimate for you upon dispatch.
